Summer Mommy and Me Photos at the River | Alberta

Love. Sweet. Love.  Summer time. Playful laughter and precious time together. Brothers. Beautiful sunlight. A mothers love. I was so happy to take these Summer Mommy and Me photos for a dear friend and her three boys.

I have this place by the river that I like to shoot at this time of year – an hour before the hour before sunset. Normally I shoot just an hour before sunset, but this spot is set deep in a valley, so I lose light fast. This just happened to be a very smokey day, the smoke blew in from the devastating forest fires in B.C.

We still managed to get some great sun rays, and these boys were more than thrilled to try a game of rock skip. We had so much fun, and got out of there just before the mosquitoes came out for the night.

It was so fun doing these Summer Mommy and me Photos this past season. I can’t wait to work with this family in the future.
