When I dream of light, I dream of light like the kind we got for these Central Alberta Family Maternity Photos. This is the Sproule Family. They were expecting a new addition to their family and I was lucky enough to be the one they chose to capture the before and after, you can check out their Blackfalds Newborn Session.

I have so many great things to say about this family, Addison’s bouncy curls and the smiles beaming off of the lot just begin to describe how fun this shoot was.  This area is one of my favourite spots to shoot. It is plentiful with trees pathways river, stream and so many other great backdrops. There is one downside though, it’s in a bit of a valley. Which means I loose my light much sooner than usual and have to plan my sessions and hour or two earlier in the day than I normally would. It worked out great for these three, soon to be four though.

Notice how I refer to the light as mine… Ya. It’s my good friend, we go way back.
