How lucky am I to have been able to photograph this couple just hours before becoming new parents to their handsome baby boy?

I’ve known these two for quite some time, and when Anastasia reached out to me to do their photos I was thrilled! So I went ahead and I booked them for their session. I asked her to stop by and try on the gown the morning of the session, and we chatted about the session that evening hoping for good weather and sunset.

A few hours later I get a message from her saying that she may be getting induced that day so we’d have to play the session by ear. Bummed about the session but super excited for them, I waited anxiously by the phone for any news.

Long story short, she got released an hour before our scheduled session time. Docs decided to induce her the next morning so we were able to sneak in this last minute Golden Hour session. How cool is that?

Aghhh!! SWOON!! How gorgeous are these images?! How gorgeous is this mama to be!?  I literally almost died culling through these images. It was so hard to pick my favourites…
