I have so much to say about this shoot! How lucky can a girl get?! To have been able to photograph such a gorgeous mama to be, and her soon to be plus one family for my first ever maternity session was a dream.  Sometimes it pays off to take a chance and trust your gut.

Alexis was 39+ weeks when I reached out to her to do this shoot, and she was kind enough to say YES!  In fact I don’t remember being in such good spirits at 39 weeks with my son. Usually, 33-37 weeks is the best time for maternity shoots because you just never know when baby will decide to make and appearance… better safe than sorry.

Wow. wow. wow.  Now I know this was a first, but these are some of my favourite images that I have ever taken!  Even though the sunset didn’t do exactly what I would have liked, I am still so thrilled with how everything turned out!

Ryan and their fur baby Chloe made were such fun, and so much help. I love when you can just feel the excitement in the air, I could with this proud papa to be.

Like seriously though… Look at this couple! Striking much?
